Savory Herb Salt

This deserves a place on the table… it is great sprinkled on eggs, chicken, soups and stews.

Ingredients

4 medium garlic cloves, peeled

½ cup Kosher salt

2 cups loosely-packed “smelly” fresh herbs such as rosemary, sage, oregano of thyme.

Instructions

Whirl garlic with 2 Tablespoons of the salt until the garlic is minced.

Add the herbs and pulse until the mixture is coarsely ground.

Add the remaining salt. Pulse until nicely mixed and pour onto a sheet pan to dry.

Store in a clean, dry jar.
